Lets
talk about options when it comes to web site design...
If you are ready to get a web site
for yourself or your business, you need to first have
a few questions answered so you have an idea of what
will work best for you, and what to tell your designer.
What is the purpose of your web site?
1. Entertainment?
2. E-Commerce/Online Sales?
3. Informative?
It may not seem like it at first, but these three web
site purposes can have very different design styles.
One of the best things and worst things you can do when
trying to get ideas for your site is look at other sites.
The best way is to look at your competition and see
what they may be doing, or look at similar business.
This way you can get some valuable ideas and are "generally"
looking at ideas that could work for you. The worst
thing to do is just simply look at "what's cool".
There are many things that you will see on web sites
that are great ideas, but may or may not work for your
business.
